March 20, 2023, CT – IDOC is proud to be Certified™ by Great Place to Work® for the third year in a row. This prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at IDOC. This year, 82% of employees said IDOC is a great place to work, compared to the average U.S. company, where only 57% of employees are fully satisfied with their workplace environment. IDOC’s people-first culture drives employees’ sense of workplace fulfillment, with 98% saying they are made to feel welcome upon joining the company and 90% feel a sense of pride in what they accomplish at work. Cultivating a strong workplace is a never-ending journey, and IDOC has made several strides in 2022 to continue to nurture and grow our people.
People Strategy & Operations Team
This past year IDOC’s Human Resources department rebranded itself to People Strategy and Operations—to better reflect
the team’s goals and objectives and deliver on our promise of People First, Always. “What we do on a daily basis spans
beyond ‘Human Resources’ to include talent strategies—from talent management, career pathing, succession planning and more,
our team’s top priority is developing our people to achieve their highest potential and succeed here at IDOC,” says Jill
Johnson, Vice President of People Strategy and Operations at IDOC.
Expansion of IDOC HR Services
Not only does IDOC focus on internal company culture, but we also provide extensive resources to our IDOC members through
our IDOC HR Services. These include expanded capabilities through IDOC HR Now—a dedicated HR-Expert Staffed Hotline managing
critical and timely staff management concerns, a full compliance library and employee handbook builder, and new courses for IDOC
members and staff to use to improve skillsets, all included in membership. HR Services also offers IDOC Benefits & Beyond, which
serves as a marketplace for employee benefits programs to include healthcare benefits and a 401K option for member practices.
Pursuit of Excellence
IDOC continues to pursue a culture of excellence through ongoing efforts that foster team connection and collaboration in a remote
environment. These include a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, team-building activities, regular staff lunches,
educational learning tables, new hire meet-ups, and question-and-answer sessions that offer employees the opportunity to ask questions in
an open and responsive environment.
“As we continue to grow and expand our organization, it’s important that we maintain high standards for our people,” says Dave Brown,
IDOC’s President and CEO. “This certification and achievement validates that we are delivering for our people and in turn, delivering on
our mission of empowering independent owners to live the practice of their dreams.”
