April 19, 2022, Norwalk CT – IDOC's as announced the launch of its newest service, IDOC Benefits & Beyond, a marketplace-based solution designed to help independent optometrists find and provide quality benefits for their staff. To roll out the marketplace, IDOC has partnered with Alera Group, an independent national insurance firm with expertise in benefit offerings. By bundling options from the nation's leading insurers, Alera Group makes it easy for ODs to provide benefits to their staff, no matter the size of the practice.

IDOC's partnership with Alera Group offers optometrists a one-stop shop for a full suite of benefits including medical, dental, life, and accident insurance as well as access to a dedicated Alera insurance consultant for trustworthy guidance. The service connects members to major local and regional benefit carriers as well as ongoing support for new enrollments and terminations.
